Bank On San Francisco can’t succeed without committed partners. We invite all local community or financial organizations to join the effort. Together, we can help San Franciscans take steps toward financial freedom.

BECOME A FINANCIAL PARTNER

When Bank On San Francisco started, we challenged many of the City’s financial institutions to lead the way in removing barriers keeping low-income families from opening bank accounts. So far, we’ve partnered with 14 banks and credit unions, with over 170 branches across San Francisco. Since we launched in 2006, we’ve helped over 10,000 San Franciscans each year to open bank accounts and enter the financial mainstream.

When you partner with Bank On, you can expand your marketing in targeted low-income neighborhoods, identify new customers, develop strategies to reach unbanked customers, and make strong connections in the community.

AS A FINANCIAL PARTNER, YOU CAN:

Bank the unbanked by offering Bank On accounts at your San Francisco locations.

Take part in Bank on San Francisco outreach events.

Partner with a community organization of your choice.

Hold a financial training seminar for community organizations.

Include Bank on San Francisco information in your mailings and newsletters.

Display posters and other materials in public spaces.

Place a link on your Web site to bankonsf.org.

BECOME A COMMUNITY PARTNER

One of the best ways to reach unbanked San Franciscans is through trusted community networks: employers, places of worship, community agencies, local colleges, and others. If you can connect us to people who want to take steps toward financial security, we can work with you to offer essential training, advice, and banking opportunities.
